Mr Takalo studied Process Engineering at the University of Oulu, and graduated in 1994. Since then before joining Polar Mining, he worked for different consultancies dealing with basic and advanced control applications. The application areas were within mineral processing and metallurgy, later also scratching telecommunications. Mr Takalo joined Polar Mining in June 2007.
